2. Shin to Shin Entry

In this scenario, your opponent grabs your sleeve with his other hand. Even though this a decent defensive position for your opponent, you can still sweep.
8. Standing Backwards Sweep
Most of the time, the simplest techniques work the best. Lovato demonstrates a very easy way to take your opponent backwards.
9. Inside X Hook
This important variation of foot placement can make a significant difference against an opponent who is either very heavy or has a knee on your chest.
10. Inside X Hook - Overhead Sweep
Sweep your opponent over your head using this move; this move is especially effective when your opponent leaning over.
11. Dealing With Sleeve Grab
Eliminate your opponent’s ability to scramble with this smooth sweep.
12. Countering Long Step
Use this technique to take your opponent’s back whenever they use this extremely common X Guard counter.
